Ruins of Light
This project is centered on the ancient architecture and desert landscape of Chaco Canyon in northwestern New Mexico. The light there moves across the weathered stone and blurs the line between what was built and what has always been. After centuries of wind, sun, and silence, these ruins feel less like remnants of the past and more like extensions of the land itself. Respect, light and time has shaped the images. The aim is for these images to offer a still, attentive look at how memory lingers in place, folded into the earth and sky.
